Changes that cannot be made online

There are some changes that cannot be done online.

Change Fee
Changing of corporate control See guidance
Change of legal entity See guidance
Add, change or remove a condition Condition relates to one licensed activity:
25% of application fee for the activity to which the condition relates.

Condition relates to multiple licensed activities:
25% of the highest application fee payable for the activities to which the condition relates.
Changes to schedule X or schedule Y Adding a person:
£160 per person per licence. Where multiple licences are held, a £40 fee will be charged for any additional licences.
Where the person to be added is already approved £40 per person per licence

Removing a person:
£40 per person per licence

Some changes should not be made if you are undergoing enhanced compliance or other regulatory investigation without notifying the Compliance and or Enforcement team before making the change.

These include:

  • registered address
  • correspondence address
  • domain name changes
  • head office address
  • trading name changes

You will need to submit these changes using the operating licence variation application form.

You will need to pay any fees for your application using BACS/Faster Payments which you can find on the paying fees page.
