RO4 Our regulation of the National Lottery Licence

National Lottery participation rates

Participation rates are an indicator of the health of the National Lottery and are important both in respect of our duty to ensure players are protected, and in respect of our duty to ensure that returns to good causes are maximised.

This data is taken from our Gambling Survey for Great Britain (GSGB), which provides regular information about the gaming, betting and playing habits, attitudes and harms experienced.

The current National Lottery Licence commenced in February 2024, and we will be presenting a table on this page when the data becomes available later this year.
