This edition reports on the periods between April 2022 and March 2023. For reference, the accompanying Excel file contains comparative data dating back to April 2013.
The Excel document features data supplied by 352 LAs in Great Britain.
Notes
This publication is primarily for anyone who has an involvement or interest in the gambling industry including government and local authorities.
About the status of official statistics.
This year 352 of Britain’s 363 LAs supplied data for the report. Because of this data shortage we could not produce a complete full report.
The 11 LAs who have not submitted a return are:
- Bromsgrove District Council
- Central Bedfordshire Council
- Derbyshire Dales District Council
- London Borough of Lambeth Council
- Malvern Hills District Council
- Redditch Borough Council
- Watford Borough Council
- West Lancashire District Council
- Worcester City Council
- Wychavon District Council
- Wyre Forest District Council.
Please note some changes were made to the 2021 to 2022 publication. The Licensing Authority Statistics for 2021 to 2022 onwards only contain statistics regarding inspections (including test purchase visits) and Local Authority Compliance Events.
We are always keen to hear how these statistics are used and would welcome your views on changes to this publication.
