Become an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider

The Gambling Commission are no longer accepting new applications from businesses to become an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider in the gambling Industry.

The Commission will remain the regulator for the gambling sector, however from April 2026 we will no longer be the relevant authority for accrediting and monitoring ADR providers in the gambling industry.

From April the Chartered Trading Standards Institute UK (CTSI) will become the competent authority for approving ADR providers in the gambling industry under the new requirements of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCC Act) 2024. The Gambling Commission will work closely with CTSI to ensure consistency and certainty for ADR providers in the sector.

All enquiries in relation to new ADR applications should be directed to CTSI using this email address: adrenquiries@tsi.org.uk
