Details of action

Following an investigation outside of a licence review, the Gambling Commission (“the Commission”) found that Clacton Pier Company Limited (“the Licensee”) breached:

  • Licence condition 15.3.1 - General and regulatory returns

In line with the Commission’s Licensing, Compliance and Enforcement policy statement and the Statement of principles for determining financial penalties, the Commission has decided to impose a financial penalty of £450.00 under section 121(1) of the Act.

Commission Officials note the remedial action taken by the Licensee to ensure future regulatory returns are submitted within the required timeframe.
