The Gambling Commission’s system for operators to manage their online accounts has been revamped. 

Accompanied by new YouTube video tutorials the refreshed eServices system enables operators to easily apply for new licences, alert the Commission to important events, pay fees, access regulatory returns and security audits, and control which staff can access their account. 

Changes include a new more readable interface which looks better on PCs, tablets and smartphones, more information on the operators’ hub page, and a simplified system for obtaining a copy of a licence. 

Sharon McNair, Programme Director for Industry insight and shared regulation, said: “We’re very pleased with the revamped system. eServices is an important tool for operators to comply with their obligations and it is now easier to use and more versatile. We would encourage all operators to view the tutorials.” 

On May 23 the Commission will launch a pilot programme which will see a number of operators using the revised eServices platform to submit information about customer funds.
