Historic terms and conditions - BetIndex

Request

I would like to know if you hold, as part of your ongoing due diligence, copies of historic Terms & Conditions for licensees. If so, please could you provide a copy of the Terms and Conditions for Betindex Limited t/a Football Index from 2018 and 2019?

Response

Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In your email you have requested copy of the Terms and Conditions for Betindex Limited t/a Football Index from 2018 and 2019.

I can confirm that no information falling within the scope of your request is held by the Commission.

The FOIA provides individuals with the right to request recorded information held by public authorities such as the Gambling Commission, at the time the request is made. It does not impose any obligation on authorities to retrieve information from other organisations.

Whilst website reviews could look specifically at T&Cs, we would not necessarily request copies as part of the engagement. Instead, the T&C’s would be reviewed live, during the website review itself. We would not hold a copy of them unless they have been specifically requested.

Kind regards

Review of the decision

You should write to FOI Team, Gambling Commission, 4th floor, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4BP or by reply to this email.

Please note, internal review requests should be made within 40 working days of the initial response. Requests made outside this timeframe will not be processed.

If you are not content with the outcome of our review, you may then apply directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision. Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have already exhausted the review procedure provided by the Gambling Commission.
