Notes
This publication is primarily for anyone who has an involvement or interest in the gambling industry including government and local authorities.
About the status of official statistics.
This year only 276 of Britain’s 368 LAs supplied data for the report. Because of this data shortage we could not produce a meaningful full report.
Please note we are making some changes to the LA Statistics that we will report in the future. The next set of Licensing Authority Statistics for 2021/22 due for publication in June 2022 will only contain statistics regarding inspections (including test purchase visits) and Local Authority Compliance Events.
We are always keen to hear how these statistics are used and would welcome your views on changes to this publication.
