HM Treasury national risk assessment 2025

17 July 2025

HM Treasury and the Home Office have published the national risk assessment of money laundering and terrorist financing 2025 (opens in new tab).

The 2025 national risk assessment (NRA) is the fourth comprehensive assessment of money laundering and terrorist financing risk in the UK.

The NRA sets out the key money laundering and terrorist financing risks for the UK, how these have changed since the UK’s third NRA was published in 2025, and the action taken since 2020 to address these risks.

Following the publication of the NRA, the Commission will review and update its risk assessment of the British gambling industry. We will release further information in due course.
