Introduction - Changes to Personal Management Licence
On 26 July 2023 we issued our summer consultation which included proposals to change licence condition 1.2.1 to increase Personal Management Licence (PML) coverage and re-iterate existing requirements. The consultation ran for 12 weeks until 18 October 2023.
We received 104 written responses to this proposal from the categories of respondents detailed as follows:
- 14 from people representing a charity and/or not for profit
- 32 from members of the public
- 26 from people representing a gambling business
- 2 from people representing a licencing authority or other regulator
- 5 from people representing a professional body, including academic organisations
- 5 from people representing a trade association
- 16 from people responding in a personal capacity who is or has worked in a gambling business
- 4 from an academic responding as an individual.
