Introduction to improved transparency on customer funds in the event of insolvency
On 29 November 2023 we issued our consultation on improved transparency on customer funds in the event of insolvency (opens in new tab). The consultation ran for 12 weeks until 21 February 2024.
We received 43 written responses to the consultation from the following categories of respondents:
- 4 from members of the public
- 6 from individuals responding in a personal capacity who are or have worked in a gambling business
- 16 from gambling businesses
- 11 from charities and/or non-profit organisations
- 1 from a licensing authority or other regulator
- 1 from professional bodies including academic organisations
- 4 from trade associations.
