Dr Steve Sharman Register of Interests

The purpose of a register of interests is to ensure the Commission is able to identify and manage potential conflicts that may influence their duties. For the most senior decision-makers and advisers in the organisation, their register of interests will be published on the Commission website as part of our commitment to transparency and the requirements of Cabinet Office Code of Conduct for Board Members of Public Bodies which specifies interests should be declared publicly.

Remunerated employment

Full time academic researcher at King’s College London. Works on projects funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), and Greo. For all research projects, Stephen is employed and remunerated by King’s College London.

Co-chair of the Outreach Committee, and on the executive committee for the Academic Forum for the Study of Gambling (AFSG), funded by Greo Evidence Insights.

Steve Sharman has no contracts, consultancy or self-employment undertakings to declare.

Non-financial interests

A trustee of the Society for the Study of Addiction (SSA).
