Engagement with stakeholders to increase vigilance of betting integrity risks
This data is sourced from our Sports Betting Intelligence Unit (SBIU).
We receive reports from multiple sources including the betting industry, sports governing bodies, law-enforcement and members of the public. Each report received undergoes a rigorous risk assessment and intelligence development process, before the most effective course of action is determined on a case-by-case basis, as per our Betting integrity decision-making framework (PDF).
Collaboration between partners is key to protecting the integrity of sport and betting from corruption. The aim of our SBIU is to engage with stakeholders to increase vigilance in identifying risks and establish the most appropriate response. The number of reports received is one indicator of underlying risk and levels of vigilance.
