Where a winning Lottery ticket was purchased that won over £100,000
Request
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting the following information:
Please provide a list of all national retailers in the United Kingdom where a winning National Lottery ticket was purchased that has won over £100,000.
I would like the data in Excel format, with the following columns (where available):
- Business name
- County / District name
- City
- Postal code
- Retailer type (e.g., newsagent, petrol station, stationery shop, etc.)
- National Lottery ticket purchased (Euromillions, Lotto, Scratchcard)
If any of the above details are not available for certain entries, please leave the relevant cells blank rather than omit the record entirely.
Where possible, I would appreciate receiving all historical data held on this subject, as a complete dataset would be more meaningful for analysis and help ensure transparency. I understand that in some cases, data volumes can be large, but I believe this request should be manageable as it relates to specific high-value wins only.
If providing the complete historical record is not possible, please provide the maximum possible timeframe you can release without exceeding the cost or time limits set out in the Act. If that still proves restrictive, please provide data for the last ten years.
