Estimated Statistics on the Total Amount Staked on Gambling Activities
Request
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:
I am seeking estimated statistics on the total amount staked on gambling activities in Britain for the most recent years where data is available.
Please note that I am not requesting information related to Customer Generated Yield (CGY) or any other data that specifically pertains to CGY. My focus is solely on the broader estimates of the total amount staked on all gambling activities across the industry during the specified period.
If possible, I would appreciate it if the data could be provided in a format that includes:
- The total estimated amount staked for each year.
- A breakdown by major categories of gambling activities (e.g. online betting, land-based casinos, lotteries, etc.), if available.
Response
