Request
- What software you are currently using to facilitate BACS payments & what is the date of the renewal for this contract?
- How much you are paying annually for this contract, and where do you advertise for this tender?
Response
Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
In your email you have requested:
- What software you are currently using to facilitate BACS payments & what is the date of the renewal for this contract?
- How much you are paying annually for this contract, and where do you advertise for this tender?
The Gambling Commission can confirm the following details of our current contract arrangements:
Description | Software brand | Contractor | Start date | Maximum contract end date | Contract duration | Initial review date | Estimated spend per annum (including VAT) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
e-Request (part of great plains contract) | E-Request | Nolan | 7 February 2020 | 6 February 2026 | Rolling contract | 8 November 2024 | £6,300 |
Great Plains Finance system | Great Plains | Nolan | 26 November 2012 | 25 November 2025 | Rolling contract | 28 July 2024 | £28,000 |
This is currently managed as a rolling contract; however, Microsoft no longer supports this product and therefore the Commission plan to go out to tender later this year. The tender will most likely be via a Government Framework Agreement rather than open tender as this is the default route to market under Public Procurement Policy. If the Commission decides to procure the new system via a Framework Agreement, then we would publish an 'award notice' on Contracts Finder after the procurement was complete.
