Details

Following a licence review, the Commission determined to revoke the Personal Functional Licence (PFL) of Mr Matthew Christopher Curley (the Licensee) under the provisions of section 119 of the Gambling Act 2005 (the Act). The Commission found;

  • the circumstances of the issue leading to the Licensee’s dismissal are inconsistent with the first licensing objective of preventing gambling being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder, or being used to support crime
  • the Licensee failed to advise the Commission of his dismissal for gross misconduct, which is a breach of their licence
  • the Licensee failed to cooperate with the Commission during the course of the licence review,
