Details of action
Following a licence review, the Commission has determined to revoke the Personal Functional Licence of Mr Jacob Sykes Gambrill (“the Licensee”) under the provisions of section 119 of the Gambling Act 2005 (“the Act”).
The Commission found the Licensee had breached paragraph 3(e) of Part III of the general licence conditions attached to personal licences under Section 75 of the Act found in the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (“LCCP”), which requires that:
Personal licence holders must notify the Commission of the occurrence of any of the following key events within 10 working days after the licensee becomes aware of the event’s occurrence…
e. the imposition of a disciplinary sanction against them, including the dismissal, for gross misconduct.
In view of this breach and the conduct associated with the Licensee’s dismissal for gross misconduct the Commission has determined that the Licensee is unsuitable to carry on licensed activities.
