My account has been closed and I don't know why

Gambling businesses have the right to close any account and it may do so for many reasons. These reasons include:

  • if there is a risk of harm
  • if their terms and conditions have been broken
  • if there is a risk of damage to the business, for example suspicion of money laundering.

Gambling businesses should always act according to their terms and conditions which should be clearly stated online and in physical premises such as betting shops.

If you feel like your account has been closed unfairly, or that the business has not acted in accordance with their terms and conditions, you should follow the complaints process. and complain directly to the business.
