Corporate Governance Framework

Our corporate governance framework sets out the necessary responsibilities and procedures that guarantee we operate properly.

2 - Purpose and scope

2.1. The Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) supports the Board of Commissioners (the Board) and Accounting Officer by providing assurance on:

  • the processes of financial reporting and control
  • systems of governance, risk management and internal control
  • the quality of the internal audit function and external audit function.

2.2. The ARC shall carry out its duties and report any issues to the Board and Accounting Officer, as appropriate by providing:

  • scrutiny to give Board and Accounting Officer assurance
  • recommendation to allow Board and Accounting Officer to make an informed decision.
