Details

Following an investigation into a key event submitted by Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited (“the Licensee”), the Commission found that the Licensee:  

  • breached licence condition (“LC”) 2.3.1 – Technical standards.

In line with the Commission’s Licensing, compliance and enforcement policy statement and the Statement of principles for determining financial penalties, the Commission has decided to:  

  • impose a financial penalty of £240,000 under section 121(1) of the Act.  

Commission Officials note that the Licensee identified the breach and proactively reported it to the Commission. The Licensee took immediate remedial action to address the identified issues and co-operated with the Commission throughout the investigation.
