Remote key equipment changes come into effect today

29 July 2020

Changes to the information that remote gambling businesses need to report to us have come into effect.

Following consultation, from today, the Commission no longer requires remote operators to:

  • make an application to vary the licence prior to adding key equipment or relocating any equipment from the jurisdiction originally stated when the application for a licence was made
  • submit a key event to inform the Commission if they move remote key equipment within a jurisdiction.
