New Gambling Commission licensing services

26 July 2021

The Commission has launched a new service, apply for a Personal Licence, that brings together all applications for personal licences (PML and PFL) and Annex A approvals.

The new apply for a Personal Licence service builds on the Commission’s continued commitment to improve the way it regulates by making it quicker and easier to apply for a personal licence or Annex A approval. The service is supported by an updated processing tool which means that applications should be processed more quickly whilst also providing regular updates on progress.

Helen Venn, Executive Director, said: “I am very pleased that we can continue to automate our Licensing services by making it easier to apply but also quicker to process. This new service is a good example of delivering positive outcomes for users through collaboration between our Licensing and Digital teams.”
