Changes to society lotteries come into effect today

29 July 2020

Changes to the rules for society and local authority lotteries licensed by the Commission come into effect today (29 July 2020).

These changes were notified in the Commission’s responses document on 29 April, following a consultation. It includes changes to limits on the size of society and local authority lotteries and new requirements and guidance to provide clear, transparent and easily accessible information to consumers.
