In a response to a recent FOI request, you sent me a copy of one slide in relation to Football Index / Bet Index. My new request is for a copy of all the slides in that slide pack.
Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
Following our response to your recent request for a copy of the financial assessment of Bet Index and all supporting documents, we provided you with a copy of one slide that was relevant to your request. You have submitted a new request for a copy of all of the slides in the slide pack.
I can confirm that the Commission do not hold a copy of the slide pack. The Commission only holds a recording of a Compliance meeting with BetIndex where the slides were presented to the Commission by Betindex. This meeting included the information that you requested previously specifically related to the financial assessment, which we provided to you.
You have already submitted a request for a copy of the recording of that meeting which is being processed separately.
To be helpful, in your previous request for information relating to the financial assessment, we created a screen grab of the relevant slide. We were not obligated to create or provide this under the FOI Act, however, we wanted to provide you with as much information as we were able to fulfil your request. We are unable to create this information for the full slide deck.
In conclusion we do not hold the information that you have requested.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your Freedom of Information request you are entitled to an internal review of our decision. You should write to FOI Team, Gambling Commission, 4th floor, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4BP or by reply to this email.
Please note, internal review requests should be made within 40 working days of the initial response. Requests made outside this timeframe will not be processed.
If you are not content with the outcome of our review, you may then apply directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision. Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have already exhausted the review procedure provided by the Gambling Commission.
The ICO can be contacted at: The Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Thank you for responding to my FOI request. The response isn't satisfactory so I am requesting that an internal review is carried out.
I believe that the information you hold is covered by the FOIA. I am therefore requesting that it is provided.
Further to your Freedom of Information request dated 08/05/22 which we responded to on 18/05/22, and your subsequent request for an internal review received on 18/05/22, we have now concluded our review and our findings are detailed below. This internal review was conducted by someone who was not involved in the processing of your original request.
Following our response to your request for a copy of the financial assessment of Bet Index and all supporting documents, we provided you with a copy of one slide that was relevant to your request. Your request was for a copy of all of the slides in the slide pack.
We advised in our response that the Commission do not hold a copy of the slide pack and that the Commission only holds a recording of a Compliance meeting with BetIndex where the slides were presented to the Commission by Betindex. The information that we hold in terms of the recording of the Compliance meeting is covered by the Freedom of Information Act, however, you have specifically requested a copy of a slide pack which we do not hold.
In conclusion, I uphold our original decision that the slide pack is not held by the Commission, therefore, we are unable to fulfil your request.
If you are not content with the outcome of your review, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision. Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by the Gambling Commission. The ICO can be contacted at: The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
