Allocation of lottery funds

To request copies of all communication whereby you have been made aware of National Lotttery operating under Camelot that funding is allocated to venues unsuitable for music events.

Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In your email you have requested all communication whereby you [The Commission] have been made aware of National Lotttery, operating under Camelot, that funding is allocated to venues unsuitable for music events.

The Gambling Commission is responsible for licensing and regulating the National Lottery, ensuring the interests of participants are protected and maximising returns for good causes, however, we do not collect details on the distribution of funds to good causes. As such, I can confirm that no information is held falling within the scope of your request.

Review of the decision

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your Freedom of Information request you are entitled to an internal review of our decision.
