Overview: We awarded Camelot UK Lotteries Limited (opens in new tab) a ten 10 year licence to run the National Lottery, starting in 2009. In March 2012 this was extended by four years. In March 2021 this was extended by six months and in December 2021 this was extended by a further six months. The Licence expired on 31 January 2024.
