Due to the impact Covid-19 is having on operations across the UK we have had to reduce our phoneline opening hours.

Our phonelines are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10 am and 4 pm.

The contact us service is also available for answers to common questions and we will aim to respond to these enquiries as quickly as possible.

If you have a question about your gambling, or the gambling of someone close to you, our FAQs from gambling consumers during lockdown may provide valuable information. Our what we do page also provides an overview of the types of queries we are able to help consumers with in the first instance.

The National Gambling Helpline is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through GamCare. It is there to support those suffering from gambling problems or those concerned about the affect gambling is having on people close to them. You can call them free on 0808 8020 133, or visit gamcare.org.uk.

Confidential intelligence line

Our confidential intelligence line allows you to tell us information without having to provide any of your personal details. All calls are received by trained employees within the Intelligence department and are treated in the strictest confidence.

The purpose of the confidential line is to add to the overall intelligence picture. You can call us about non-compliance with licence conditions and codes of practice and illegal gambling-related activity, both of which threaten the three licensing objectives

The confidential intelligence line is not intended for employment grievances.

You can use the confidential line to report:

  • information on unlicensed or criminal activity related to gambling such as betting in pubs and illegal gaming machine supply
  • concerns that money laundering is taking place
  • underage gambling
  • concerns about sports betting integrity (match-fixing).
Call the confidential intelligence line on +44 121 230 6655

We work in partnership with the charity Crimestoppers as part of an ongoing strategy to protect against match-fixing, money laundering and illegal gambling.

Crimestoppers will pass on reports made to them about gambling-related criminality or corruption to our Sports Betting Intelligence Unit (SBIU) at the same time as they are reported to the police.

Call crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or go online to provide information anonymously
