Remote gaming machine technical – software operating licence

This licence allows you to manufacture, supply, install or adapt gaming machine software for all categories of gaming machine using remote communication (eg supplying gaming machine software via secure file transmission).

You are responsible for making sure all of your gaming machine software complies with the gaming machine technical standards. 

If your business supplies gaming machine software using any form of non-remote communication (such as by uploading software to CD or memory stick), you should also apply for a non-remote gaming machine technical licence.

Annual fee

Your first annual fee is due 30 days after your licence is issued to you. Subsequent annual fees are due every year before the anniversary of the day your licence was issued.

For the first year, the annual fees below will be reduced by 25% (ancillary and linked licence annual fees are not subject to this reduction).  

If you apply for a combination of different kinds of licence, you will get a discount on your annual fee.
