This was paid in connection with a regulatory failing which was investigated by the Gambling Commission. It is not considered a voluntary donation because of the unique circumstances of this payment and its link to a regulatory failing. The operator who is subject to the settlement has no control or influence on the allocation of the funding or how the money is spent GwL also received a regulatory settlement payment from another operator.

Regulatory settlements are not voluntary contributions and the operator who is subject to the settlement has no control or influence on the allocation of the funding or how the money is spent. The settlement payment totalled £102,000.
