We are currently exploring funding options to develop an alumni ambassador group, which will be responsive to developing the skills of those in recovery
October 2021
We have had a number of ex-residents apply for jobs where they havent been ready and taken this as rejection. There is a need for us to work up a policy to aid in the management of expectations around lived experience alone qualifying people for roles. Subsequent learning implemented in the recruitment process to identify ex residents so rejection can be managed sensitively but also the need to develop an accessible and safe pathway into employment
Engagement with lived experience organisations to establish safe arena away from the toxic and concerning use of social media and the development of sessions around preempting this in treatment to avoid people being impacted negatively by this post treatment
