April 2021

The Consultation is closed and the response is to be published by July 2021. The Commission Intends to initiate a trial of new approach in 2021/22.

November 2020

The consulation on the Gambling Commission's approach for collecting gambling participation and problem gambling prevalence statistics opened in December 2020, and will close on 12 February 2021. Subject to the consultation responses, any changes to the methodology will be brought into effect from 2021-22 onwards.
