Dr Hermine Graham currently works in Private Clinical Practice and offers Therapy, Psychology Consultancy, Expertise and Training.
She has over 25 years experience of working in the NHS as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in mental health and substance misuse treatment services. For 16 years she also held a joint academic and research appointment in the school of Psychology at the University of Birmingham.
She sat on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy as an Associate Editor for 20 years, and has a substantial body of published research in academic peer reviewed journals, including two treatment manuals and a award winning edited book.
Dr Graham's areas of expertise are; behaviour change, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, motivational interventions, staff training and the develoment and research evaluation of psychological treatments for mental health and addictive behaviours.
She has served on expert advisory groups to develop national policy guidance for the treatment of ‘dual diagnosis’ (substance misuse in those who experience mental health problems) and has substantial national and international experience of staff training and consultancy.
