Hi,

Is it possible to get a history of fruit machine and £500 jackpot slot machine jackpot history? For example, the year £2, £4, £4.80 etc. jackpots were introduced, right up to present day? I couldn’t find the information anywhere online.

Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In your email you have requested 'history of fruit machine and £500 jackpot slot machine jackpot history'.

The setting of maximum stakes and prizes for gaming machines are determined by the Government, specifically The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) As such, I can confirm that the Gambling Commission does not hold the information you have requested.

Review of the decision
