Between 1 December 2023 and 10 April 2025, how many people have gained employment with the Gambling Commission and from that total, how many were employed on permanent contracts and how many were employed on fixed term contracts.

Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In your email you have requested:

‘Between 1 December 2023 and 10 April 2025, how many people have gained employment with the Gambling Commission and from that total, how many were employed on permanent contracts and how many were employed on fixed term contracts.’

The Gambling Commission can confirm that between 1 December 2023 and 10 April 2025, there have been 85 new starters. This is broken down by:

Fixed Term Contracts - 32

Permanent Contracts - 53

Review of the decision

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your Freedom of Information request you are entitled to an internal review of our decision.
