Survey data on gambling participation
Survey data on gambling participation provides information
on the participation in all gambling activities including
remote forms of gambling. It sets out the findings from
questions asked through an omnibus survey conducted by ICM
Research.
As ICM have discontinued midweek omnibus surveys, from September
2010, the questions measuring participating in all gambling
activities and participation in remote gambling activities will
each be asked of 1,000 (instead of 2,000) respondents every
quarter. This means the reported sample size will decline by 1,000
each quarter for each set of questions, until June 2011 when all
subsequent reports will be based on 4,000 respondents (for each set
of questions).
Survey data on public perceptions of gambling
Survey data on public perceptions of gambling provides
information on how far people think, firstly gambling is fair and
can be trusted, and secondly whether gambling is associated with
criminal activity. It sets out the findings from questions asked
through an omnibus survey conducted by ICM Research. The data is
published annually, based on an updated sample of 4,000
interviews.
