Proposal to extend regulatory returns deadline
Start
date: 1 April 2010
End date: 30 April 2010
The Gambling Commission proposes to change the time for
submission of regulatory returns for those operators who submit
them on an annual, not quarterly, basis.
This would give 42 days instead of the current 28 days from the end
of the annual period. As pointed out during discussions with
smaller operators at the recent series of open meetings, this will
help smaller operators cope with both annual accounts and
submission of returns.
In order to make these changes we need to
consult formally over the next four weeks. In the meantime
those operators affected should work on the basis that the change
to the licence condition will be made and can be assured we will
not chase overdue returns until 42 days after year end.

change please email: consultation@gamblingcommission.gov.uk
