Gambling advertisements and impact on responsible gambling

As a result of this consultation, the Gambling Commission has now published the Guide to gambling advertising codes - September 2010 and the Industry code of practice for advertising - August 2007 This consultation paper addressed the issues associated with advertising in relation to the licensing objectives of keeping crime out of gambling, ensuring that gambling is conducted fairly and openly, and protecting children and vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling.
