As a result of this consultation, the Gambling
Commission published the guidance to licensing authorities – first
edition. This has now been replaced by the
Guidance to licensing authorities - May 2009.
This consultation set out our draft guidance
to licensing authorities on the exercise of their functions in
relation to the administration and conduct of lotteries under the
Gambling Act 2005.
It was issued in accordance with section 25 of the Gambling Act
2005.
