As a result of this consultation, the Gambling
Commission has now published
Guidance to licensing authorities - May 2009.
This consultation paper set out our guidance
to licensing authorities in relation to premises licences for
tracks. It focused on the granting and review of a premises licence
for tracks and outlined the considerations that licensing
authorities will need to explore as part of the approval process in
relation to the licensing objectives.
