Our confidential intelligence line (0121) 230 6655 gives callers
the opportunity to provide information without having to provide
any personal details. All calls are received by trained employees
within the Intelligence department and are treated in the strictest
confidence.
The purpose of the confidential line is to add to the overall
intelligence picture and it should be used to provide information
about non-compliance with licence conditions and codes of practice
and gambling-related activity, both of which threaten the three
licensing objectives. The confidential intelligence line is
not intended for employment grievances.
The information you can report using the confidential line is,
for example:
- information on unlicensed or criminal activity related to
gambling such as betting in pubs and illegal gaming machine
supply
- regulation breaches by licensed operators
- matters that are not directly related to gambling but may
impact on a licence holder’s suitability to retain a licence
- sports betting integrity (match-fixing).
