Suspension of operating licence

The Gambling Commission (the
Commission) has commenced a review under section 116 of the
Gambling Act 2005 (the Act) and, under section 118 of the Act, has
decided to suspend the Combined Operating Licence
number 000-022061-N-306796-001(Nicky
Shorrock and Andrew Uppington t/a ATL Amusements, ATL Hire)
relating to an adult gaming centre and machine supplier, whilst the
review takes place.
The suspension is an interim measure, the need for
which will be kept under consideration during the review.
UPDATE: A Commission Director decided to
revoke the operating licence issued under section 74 of the
Gambling Act to Nicky Shorrock and Andrew Uppington on the grounds
that class A drugs, electronic scales and other drug related
paraphernalia were found by police in their AGC premises.
