By rail
Birmingham has two major railway stations, both of which are
within easy reach of Victoria Square House.
From Birmingham New Street
You can use the
closer Navigation Street exit (signposted Victoria Square) which is
accessible from platforms 2 to 11.
Head towards the "B" end of these platforms and up the stairs
towards the back of the station. Follow the walkway round and exit
onto the street.
Cross the street at the crossing in front of you and walk up the
hill. The main entrance is to the left once you reach the
Square.
From New Street station you can also take the stairs or
escalator up to the main thoroughfare. Turn left at the top of the
escalator, then continue out the pedestrian entrance and down the
ramp (past McDonalds). Turn left along New Street, carry straight
on along the pedestrianised area until you reach Victoria Square
and see a metal sculpture of a leaning figure. Victoria Square
House is on your left.
From Birmingham Snow Hill
Exit from
the main entrance, turn right along Colmore Row until you reach the
fountain in Victoria Square. Going down the steps, Victoria Square
House is in front of you.
By car (use B2 4AY for sat nav)
There is currently a lengthy diversion if driving to Victoria
Square House as a result of the modernisation works being carried
out at New Street station. You are advised to use the train if you
visit Victoria Square House, however, if you are visiting the
Gambling Commission by car, please ask your Gambling Commission
representative for a vehicle permit, a map of the diversion route
and to arrange a parking space for you.
