How do I complain about a gambling advertisement?

|
If you have a complaint about a gambling advertisement, you
should visit the Advertising Standards Authority
(ASA) website, or call them on 02074 922 222.
Licence holders must follow the rules put in
place by the Committee for Advertising Practice (CAP), the
Broadcast Committee for Advertising Practice (BCAP) and the
Industry
code of practice for advertising - August 2007
The ASA is responsible for administering
the CAP and BCAP codes, responding to public concerns and ensuring
that gambling advertisements across media are compliant. If serious
or repeated breaches of the codes occur, the ASA may refer licence
holders to the Gambling Commission or Ofcom.
If you believe that a licence holder is
providing advertising that contravenes the industry code of
practice on advertising you should contact the Remote Gambling
Association, who chair the Review Group for Socially
Responsible Advertising.
