This statistics catalogue lists both those statistics produced by the Gambling Commission that are designated 'official statistics' under the Statistics and Registration Services Act 2007 (SRSA 2007) and statistical publications that have not been published under the criteria of the SRSA 2007.

The third large-scale nationally representative survey of participation in gambling and the prevalence of problem gambling in Great Britain.

Omnibus survey data on gambling participation

Survey data on gambling participation provides information on the participation in all gambling activities including remote forms of gambling.

Omnibus survey data on public perceptions of gambling

Survey data on public perceptions of gambling provides information on how far people think, firstly gambling is fair and can be trusted, and secondly whether gambling is associated with criminal activity.

Gambling Industry Statistics

Detailed statistics relating to the gambling industry in Great Britain.

Licensing authority statistics

Annual publication of information collated from licensing authorities in the course of their responsibilities under the Gambling Act 2005 that reflects local gambling-related activity.

Drop and win summary report

 A summary report  showing the amount of money exchanged for chips in casinos (‘drop’) and the amount retained by the casino (‘win’). The data in the report is based on a rolling year average showing figures for the previous twelve months.

National Lottery Distribution Fund

Payments to National Lottery good causes by the operator Camelot are made to the National Lottery Distribution Fund (NLDF) on behalf of the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, who oversees the fund. We make sure that the operator’s payments to the Secretary of State are accurate and on time. We compile a quarterly report detailing the level of funds that have been transferred to the NLDF.

Ipsos MORI Young People Omnibus 2013

Survey data exploring young people’s gambling behaviours, specifically amongst those aged 11-15 who are not legally entitled to buy National Lottery tickets.
