The Gambling Commission's annual report and
accounts contain details of the work undertaken by us during the
relevant financial year, including our financial statement and
accounts.
Previous annual reports and accounts
Industry statistics
A separate publication is produced alongside the report and
accounts to cover gambling statistics. This includes basic
information on each industry sector – betting, bingo, casinos,
gaming machines and arcades, lotteries and remote gambling.
The latest statistics are available to download below as
a PDF. We have also published an Excel version of the
statistics for the first time, to provide more transparency and an
element of interactivity with the figures:

The above versions of the industry statistics have
been updated.
The PDF version contains the following revisions:
- In Table 1 on page 5 the lottery numbers have been adjusted to
account for an error, and the first paragraph on that page has been
adjusted to reflect this.
- Tables 2 and 3 on page 6, and tables 18 and 19 on page 19 have
some additional text to clarify the data over B3 gaming
machines.
- On page 9 the text under table 7 has been amended, replacing
September 2011 with March 2012.
- In the first paragraph on page 40, the wording has been changed
to match the figures in Table 45.
The Excel version contains the following revisions:
- In table 1A, section 1, the lottery numbers have been adjusted
to account for an error, and the first paragraph on that page has
been adjusted to reflect this.
- Alongside tables 1C and 1D in section 1, and tables 2G and 2H
in section 2, the commentary has some additional text to clarify
the data over B3 gaming machines.
- In the first paragraph in section 5 the wording has been
changed to match the figures in Table 5B.
