Legacy gaming machines
Legacy gaming machines are Category B3, B4, C or D machines that
were available for lawful use on premises in Great Britain on 31
August 2007 (prior to the Gambling Act 2005 coming into force) and
registered with the
Gambling Commission before 1 December 2007.
Operators who have gaming machines that
could potentially have legacy status, but are not registered,
should contact us to
discuss what action they should take.
Legacy gaming machines need to comply with the
standards set out in
Gaming machine technical standards - B3, B4, C and D legacy
machines – June 2007.
