How much are operating licence fees - casinos?
How much is the annual fee?
Gambling Act 2005 (2005 Act) casino
The first annual fee for a non-remote Gambling Act 2005 (2005
Act) casino operating licence will be due six months after the
operating licence is issued to you. For the first year, and for
this licence only, the annual fee will be reduced by 50%.
The subsequent annual fees for the non-remote Gambling Act 2005
(2005 Act) casino operating licence will be the amounts shown
below, unless the holder of this licence is not yet operational.
Where the licence holder is not operational, the annual fee will be
reduced by 50%. We will consider a holder of this operaing licence
to have become operational twelve months before the planned opening
date of its first 2005 Act casino premises.
The holder of the licence must therefore notify us of a date
upon which they propose to commence trading from premises in
respect of which a 2005 Act casino premises licence will have
effect.
You must notify us three months prior to your annual fee due
date to confirm whether your 2005 Act casino is operational so that
the correct annual fee is charged. We will contact you in writing
for this information.
Gambling Act 1968 (1968 Act) casino
The first year annual fee for a non-remote Gaming Act 1968
(1968 Act) casino operating licence only will be reduced by 25%. If
you apply for a combination of diffferent operating licences, you
will get a discount on your annual fee.
The first annual fee for all other casino operating licence is
due 30 days after the licence is issued to you
