Non-remote gaming machine technical - full licence

Allows you to manufacture, adapt, install, repair, maintain and supply all categories of gaming machine, parts of a gaming machine or gaming machine software. You are responsible for making sure all your machines comply with the gaming machine technical standards.

A business which makes gaming machines available for use on its premises by the public, for example an arcade or a pub, is not supplying those machines to the public, it is merely making them available for use, so a suppliers licence is not required. However, the appropriate licence or permit must be in place to allow machines to be made available for use on the premises.

Ancillary remote operating licence – email only

If you are applying for a non-remote gaming machines operating licence and you want to supply part of your service by email only, you can add an ancillary remote licence to your main licence.

Application fee: £100
Annual fee: no cost

If you supply part of your service by any other means of remote communication you will need one of the remote gaming machine technical licences listed above.
